Requirements

WALKER D.R.E.E.M. Foundation was created to target generations who are considered to be the underrepresented segments of society. Priority for the recipients of the WALKER D.R.E.E.M. Foundation Scholarship will be given to students who have a need for academic support in order to pursue a program of postsecondary education. Special consideration will be given to students from low-income families, first-generation college students and students who potentially have a high risk for academic failure.

     Requirements for applying for a Walker D.R.E.E.M. Foundation Scholarship

  1. Must write an essay with at least 300 words on what you aspire to be and why.
  2. Must have performed at least 20 hours of community service.
  3. Must have a GPA of 2.7 or higher.
  4. Must have 1 letter of recommendation from a certified principal, vice principal, teacher or counselor from your high school.
